It's been a quick year. On 2.2.23, the 56-year-old mission organization formerly known as Asian Access or "A2" announced a new name...

Answer: A3

A3 is celebrating our first birthday today even though we are over 57 years old.

Answering the 3rd Call

The new name A3 marked the third season of the mission originally launched in 1967 as Language Institute For Evangelism. 

Our first call was to Japan and we were known as LIFE Ministries. But as we sensed a larger second call to expand to Asia, we took on the new name, Asian Access. Many started calling us "A2" as a shorter nickname. After 22 years, God gave us increasing opportunities to leverage beyond Asia what we've learned there. So the new name marks a season that we are striving to answer—the third call to be global.

Since many ask us, it is important to note that A3 has never left Japan or Asia to run toward new opportunities. Our half-century commitment to this continent remains strong. If you read our stories (sign up for blog posts here), then you know this.

But what it means is that wherever we are operating, we focus on the same things...

A3 NETWORKS

We foster intentional networks with several high-impact leaders to face their challenges... together.

A3 LEADERS

A3 leaders are carrying the opportunity to reach many people in their local communities with the transforming message of Jesus Christ. They are strategically positioned and poised to grow alongside other leaders with shared purpose.

A3 PROCESS

Our process is centered around the belief that a Spirit-led community can change the culture of an entire nation—virtually anything—toward Christ's purposes. We give leaders a structure to connect and sustain each other, accelerate their own ministries, and expand the love of Jesus throughout their communities.

A3 SESSIONS

The A3 Leader Development Model brings together 12-18 leaders who meet quarterly over a 2-year period. Intensive, in-service, in-country, in-community, and ongoing.

A3 COMMUNITY

The relationships that develop in the context of this experience provide a network for ongoing collaboration, friendship and development long after the cohort graduates.
