When I first interviewed with A3 over six years ago, I told the board, “This is one of the best kept secrets in mission today.” Why? Because I was in cross-cultural mission leadership for more than 20 years and had no idea of the impact of the mission.

When I look at the challenges facing the church today, I am convinced that the future of leadership does not rest on structures or strategies alone. It rests on the inner life of leaders; their spirituality, their character, and their ability to live in authentic community. This is where A3 has made such a profound difference in my nation.

It was great to be in Jakarta for the A3 session of the second cohort! I met Pastor Yoel, who wanted to share a few words of thankfulness with everyone about his A3 experience.
