Ministry Updates and Thanksgiving Greetings from A3
Hi, Friends!
I [Silk] just got back from attending an A3 "Women in Ministry" session in Bangladesh. It was so amazing! What a blessing!
- Silk was asked to share her story and encourage the ladies throughout the week.
As we consider how grateful we are for you, this verse came to mind:
"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights."
— James 1:17
And we [Joe sharing] are so blessed by God, the Father of Lights, who sent you as a perfect gift that has been and is so good to us and the A3 family.
Through A3, you are helping us "Change the Few who Change the Many" like the women in Bangladesh. And last week, for me [Joe], I was in Panama at a global Congress for pastoral trainers. Several of the leaders, alumni, and key voices from the A3 family were involved in that Congress.
- Herman Moldez from A3/Philippines shared at a plenary session on mentoring. Several, not knowing that Herman was connected to A3, came up to me saying his sharing was one of the best of the entire week!
- Dr. Jason Tan, also from A3/Philippines designed the new framework for Pastor Training Standards or Indicators of Success that the Conventions planners adopted.
- Jeyakaran Emmanuel from A3/India led devotions for the South Asia group.
- Plus a few of our faculty were involved as well as a handful of our alumni.
- I was engaged all week to strengthen the training of pastors through partnerships between non-formal and formal theological education.
- Finally, I was there for a brand new movement A3 is helping launch called the Galilean Movement to raise up more Christ-like leaders for the fast-growing work of Jesus worldwide.
So, you truly are “Changing the Few who Change the Many”.
