A3 is moving to a new donor platform called Virtuous! Our existing donor platform has been shut down for a few days to prepare for the new platform launching on Monday, March 27, 2023. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Existing donor information will be transferred. However, for security reasons, banking and credit card data will not be brought over. Therefore, if you have a recurring donation to A3 (via direct debit or credit card), you will need to re-establish your recurring donation on the Virtuous platform starting in April 2023.
Certain donors will be impacted immediately. If you are in the impacted group that is migrating in April, you should receive an email on March 21, 2023 and a hard copy letter a few days later with additional action steps. If you did get this communication, . . .
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. We value your data and have determined it is more secure not to transfer your banking or credit card information during the migration.
Furthermore, we are confident that the new online donation platform will provide a better donor/partner experience compared to our old online platform. In addition, we will save quite a bit by making this switch. Thank you for your understanding. We appreciate your partnership!
Bangladesh (MNN) — Christians make up just 0.3 percent of the population of Bangladesh. And it’s difficult for that number to grow.
All of life is a learning experience. Throughout the course of my life, I have participated in learning experiences that have been of a formal, non-formal, and informal nature. Some of my best learning opportunities have occurred in the less intentional informal moments in the school of life. In these experiences, learning has taken place through observing people who unexpectedly created a teachable moment for me in the high calling of married life...
International (MNN) — False worldviews in South Asia about men and women lead to increased domestic violence as billions are confined to their homes by COVID-19. Adrian DeVisser, the Vice President for Partnership Development at A3, says ugly views towards women already exist, but the isolation is compounding the issue. In the cultural context of South Asia, which is informed by Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam, De Visser says, “[People] believe that man is [like a] god, and the wife happens to be not a god. For instance, a lady in Asian contexts sometimes find it difficult to call her husband by name. She will call him by the name of the child and say,...
I often speak with parents about the challenges of parenting and hear stories of the aches and pains people face or simply the frustrations of raising kids. How encouraging to know that A3 missionary Barbara Bauman, with help from her husband Gary, has updated her outstanding book Discovering the Joy of Parenting. I can’t wait to get a copy! The original book has been a lifesaver and game changer for many Japanese and Mongolian families around the world. It’s been available as a bilingual Japanese and English text since 2002, and in Mongolian since 2012. I’ve heard stories of...

Listen to Joe and Silk Handley share reflections from their first time teaching the Marriage & Family module, where they recently led the session in one of A3's newest countries.

What a joy it was for Silk and me to teach together for the first time on Marriage and Family. We were joined by our teammates Christy Rajender and Jeyakaran Emmanuel from India serving with them in this remote Himalayan Kingdom. We had a great time playing games, spending time with the families and digging into God’s word helping couples grow closer together and become better husbands, wives and parents. Many shared how impactful the week was for them and their marriage. Some had said they had been through the bible passages and special material before but they found this module particularly challenging. Why? Because we actually dug in deep and discussed the Word together, sharing how these principles and values work out in...
One of the wives of a participant was surprised by the benefit of A3. She has been skeptical and even wasn’t sure the program was all that important for her husband a pastor...
Rev. Adrian DeVisser is Founder of Kithu Sevana Ministries, National Director for A3 Sri Lanka, and Vice President for Partnership Development for A3. This past January, Adrian, in collaboration with key national leaders, organized the Navodaya (New Beginning) Conference at the Ape Kadella Camp and Conference Center outside of Colombo. The Conference brought together leaders from throughout Sri Lanka. As Adrian shares here, God moved powerfully through the Navodaya Conference.
“The Navodaya conference was organized in January 2018 to fulfil a threefold objective...
