A3 utilizes an interwoven curriculum that focuses on fourteen strategic areas of leadership and church health. These strategic areas are covered in a variety of ways depending on the needs and situation of the participants and on the availability of faculty.
There are four categories of topics covered in the A3 Leader Development Model:

- Multiplying Churches
- Expanding the Kingdom

Leading Your Church to Growth
Building healthy churches
Growing churches have strong leaders who are able to lead the church to growth.
Through this teaching module, leaders:
- Understand the role of faith and strong leadership in church growth.
- Clearly grasp God’s leading and direction for the church.
- Learn how to make their philosophies of ministry clear to their people.
- Communicate and inspire vision in their people.
- Develop functional structures for discipleship, cells, and church growth.
- Effectively equip and release people into ministry.

Missional Small Groups
Cultivating groups to experience biblical community and outreach
Missional small groups are a proven means of fostering evangelism, discipleship, leadership training and shepherding.
Through this teaching module, leaders:
- Discover the importance and Biblical basis for missional small groups.
- Grasp the basic dynamics of missional small groups and related ministry.
- Learn how to establish healthy missional small groups in their churches.
- Understand how to utilize these groups for discipleship and leadership multiplication.

Church Planting and Multiplication
Reproducing witnessing communities
Planting multiplying churches is one of the fastest and best ways to reach people for Christ.
Through this teaching module, leaders:
- Gain a vision for planting and multiplying churches.
- Learn Biblical and practical insights on how to plant multiplying churches.
- Get tips from seasoned church planters.
- Learn how to reproduce leaders who can also plant multiplying churches.
A3 participants are encouraged to plant multiplying churches, that is, to plant churches that plant more churches. A2 sustains change by identifying, developing and releasing the right leaders at the right time through the right process. By helping leaders thrive, we are changing the few, who change the many.
