Today we experienced a powerful celebration as we commissioned our newest country in SE Asia and honored one of our senior leaders who is transitioning into a new ministry role.
As we look to leadership in the current era, we see great wisdom in the way that geese fly in formation. See this youtube video to see what we envision.
Leadership is done best by working in teams and when one leader needs to rest another takes the helm but the point leader always continues in an important position.
"Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work:
If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up!
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
Eccl. 4:9-12
Today we look to the future in commissioning our newest brother into the A3 family and look to launch this SE Asian country in the coming months. We also celebrate with a new national director for Japan.
This was followed by a special ceremony honoring the leadership of Pastor Hiroshi Kawasaki as he transitions from leading our work in Japan to serving on the leadership team.

It’s been a powerful week as we not only celebrated so much together but also lived and learned in community. We learned that our strength comes from living in community with Christ and in community with one another. We are stronger when we root ourselves in Christ and when we live together in vibrant community!
