Mission Pastor Nate Aanderud loves the A3 vision
Not long ago, I hosted some friends to speak into the life of A3 for the coming years. Our world is in a pivotal season—a tumultuous season—and one that demands more and more from spiritual leaders. Sadly, pastors have quit the pulpit more in the last five years and churches are closing doors in higher numbers than we’ve seen in my lifetime.
As these friends gathered, I asked them to share their wisdom as A3 aspires to fulfill our vision in the years ahead. It was eye-opening to hear each on share.
The mission pastor from my home church, Nate Aanderud, in reflecting on our vision, said:
“A3 is Killing It!”
He said as he looks at our vision and the impact of what he has personally observed through our ministry, A3 is doing an incredible job!
Our Vision:
A vibrant community accelerating Christ-centered movements around the world.
Nate has now taught for us in a few countries and visited a handful as well. These pictures catch him in action in Nepal where he shared most recently.
It’s encouraging to hear reports like this as people see what God is doing in the lives of leaders, bringing them together for mutual benefit and kingdom growth. And to see movements of God birth from these communities is powerful.
In Nepal’s case, it’s been the fastest-growing Church in the world throughout most of the years A3 has invested in the country. Wow! And, more importantly, praise God!
Yes, “A3 is Killing It.” but only because we keep the main thing, the main thing. It’s all about God! When we keep him central, he enables us to bear much fruit.
"Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
