A3.Women In Ministry Participant in India

I am Thara Cherian from North India. I was a part of our Women In Ministry batch from 2022 to 2023.

The WIM Ministry was a blessing for us, and for me especially. I was able to mingle with many pastors' wives who came for this WIM ministry.

Thara CherianIt was a platform for us to pour out our hearts and to learn together.

We unlearned many things and also learned many topics like spiritual formation and spiritual leadership. We even shared about our lives. It was a great experience.

At first, I used to think that I'm the only person who has many challenges in my life. But then I heard from others, and I knew that many are there in this journey.

The way the resource people taught us and their life experience was a great blessing for me. I was thinking that in Titus 2, verses 3-4, where the older people pass over the things that they learned to the younger generation, it was fulfilling in my life. Learning about the application part especially, it was a great help for me. It was life changing.

Titus 2:3-4

Also, I was a person who was timid to stand in front of the men and talk, but one session taught us that we must share what God puts in our heart. It was greatly encouraging for me. Thanks to WIM for standing with me in this journey, it was a great blessing.

I was even able to understand where I was standing at first in the spiritual formation. And slowly, after all the sessions and at the end of the graduation, I learned so much. I can tell.

Thank you!

Women In Ministry (WIM) is a leader development initiative within the A3 movement that equips Christian women leaders across Asia with transformational training in spiritual formation, leadership, and mission through small, cohort-based learning communities. The program helps participants grow as disciples of Christ and as influential ministry leaders by fostering strong relational support, addressing challenges like isolation and burnout, and encouraging Spirit-led change in their lives, families, churches, communities, and nations. Ultimately, WIM focuses on raising up “Esthers”—women who are empowered to contribute meaningfully to the building of God’s Kingdom and to lead with increased vision, character, and competence.
