A3 hosted a wonderful gathering during Cape Town 2010. Over 75 people were in attendance including alumni, faculty, staff, board, reference council and supporters. The reality and power of reconciliation served as the tapestry of day three here in Cape Town. It began with a wonderful inductive study and exposition of Ephesians 2. "Though we were once dead in sin... now, because of his great mercy, we are alive in Christ... We were once far off... now we have been brought near... Today's focus at Cape Town has been Truth... The crucial importance of the importance of truth today in the midst of a pluralistic society. We walked through an inductive bible study in small groups, diving into Ephesians chapter one. We were reminded of the treasure of the Gospel and the hope we have in Christ alone. As I sit here at Heathrow International Airport in transit to Cape Town for Lausanne III, I've been meditating on the words shared by my Chinese brothers who were blocked from attending the Congress. While it saddens me to know that they won't be able to join me and over 4000 Christian leaders for this historic gathering, I'm impressed by their trust in God's sovereignty.
