It’s been a powerful week for me here in Los Angeles between trips to Asia and a powerful last few months in general. It’s reminded me of the importance of finishing well. You may have heard that only 3 in 10 leaders finish well. It is for this reason that A3 invests heavily in the lives of emerging young leaders: to help more finish well in the journey of life and ministry!

Last week I had the privilege of visiting Pastor Cho from the Ochakko Tea House in Ishinomaki. This is the relief project center started by Hongodai Christian Fellowship from Yokohama, Japan. Over the last three years they have seen 30 people come to Christ and baptized which is quite a remarkable story. Pastor Cho, who is a Korean missionary assigned by the Hongodai Church to plant a church in this center shared with me that he recently baptized two people and that he has a faith goal of baptizing 20 more people in 2014. That’s an impressive step of faith!

Last week one of my colleagues from one of the poorest nations in the world gave A3 $100 AUD - Australian dollars. He and his wife had prayed about helping us reach our matching challenge of $1M from Asia (or those who had been born in Asia). He so believes in the work of A3 in his country that he wanted to help his brothers and sisters in other nations.
